Discogs autofill
Use Discogs metadata to speed up item creation.
More elaborate tutorials are being worked on and will be added soon.
1. Add your token
- Open Edit Profile.
- Paste your Discogs personal token.
- Use the token test button to verify access.
2. Configure Discogs properties in templates
Add properties such as barcode, release id, artist, title, year, genre, style, format, country, cover url, or album cover.
3. Autofill priority
The autofill lookup uses first available input in this order: release id, then barcode, then artist + title.
4. Quick and full editor support
Discogs lookup inputs and autofill are available in both quick and full item editor modes when Discogs properties exist. Barcode scan supports camera selection, and some browsers may use Capture & decode fallback instead of live scan.
5. Backfill existing items from template changes
- Template editor includes a Discogs backfill panel for attached items.
- Backfill runs in background jobs for large collections.
- Progress can be checked from template backfill status.
