Items and templates
Build reusable structure without losing item-level flexibility.
More elaborate tutorials are being worked on and will be added soon.
1. Quick mode vs full mode
- Quick mode focuses on value entry with minimal controls.
- Full mode adds overview representation, open behavior, and full property controls.
- Switch modes at any time while editing.
2. Property types
Supported types include text, number, date, url, tags, checkbox, rating, picture, and Discogs-specific properties.
3. Overview representation
- Add property or text segments.
- Set per-segment style (size, weight, alignment where applicable).
- Choose mode: horizontal one-line, horizontal full, or vertical.
- Use arrows to reorder segments.
4. Templates and locked structure
- Template-attached properties keep template-controlled structure in items.
- Users can still edit property values where allowed.
- Items can be detached from templates in full mode if needed.
5. Pushing template changes
When updating templates, you can apply changes to attached items and review impact before saving.
